    1. Traffic source;

    2. Snapchat;

    3. Wink app;

    4. Swipr app;

    5. Results, recommendations and statistics.

1. Traffic source

In this case, I tell you about Wink, Swipr applications and their analogues. Wink is the most popular Android and iOS applications for finding friends at Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok. There prevails the audience from UK, US. I can’t find information on the age of users (according to profiles, average age is 20-30 years old).

These applications are analogues of Dating apps, but the main difference is that you can share your contacts directly in a chat or with a mutual “Like”. It gives unlimited opportunities to send traffic to social networks and messengers, etc. (in my case, it’s Snapchat, because I used to work with it), where you can post an active link and avoid  bans.

As a result, we have the target audience of the solvent age for Dating offers.

2. I have always worked with Snapchat. The app is very popular in the Geos that I need (US, UK), a large part of the male audience uses it as a Dating application. Also, pay attention, that Snapchat is relatively loyal to links and you can easily avoid a ban by creating a simple pre-landing (Usually I use the linktr.ee service and its analogues – these are business pre-landings).

Before start, I’ve created a Snapchat account and a pre-landing on linktr.ee.

Example:

Pre-landing screenshot

The pre-landing is ready, I uploaded the stories to Snapchat profile, attached the link. It’s done, then the main goal is to get traffic from Wink and send it to Snapchat.

3. You can use these applications both from the smartphone and desktop. They don’t need a proxy or a constant change of profiles, any VPN is enough to change the IP.

So, I’ve start with Wink app on the example of a smartphone (Android).

First you need to download Multiple Accounts application, it allows you to create unlimited copies of applications on the device, which is necessary for scaling the campaign.

Examples:

Then I create a profile in Wink (make a registration via gmail.com, take a photo of a random girl for an avatar), indicate my Snapchat in the profile description:

The profile is ready, we see the usual swipe panel as on others Dating applications.

During my active work with this application, a fresh account gets 500 diamonds. One like=10 diamonds, which totally means 50 likes/account.

Now you can get 300-500 diamonds and there is no way to get more, so each account is one-time and it’s not necessary after 30-50 likes.

You can create an unlimited number of profiles using Multiple Accounts or an emulator (10 accounts per hour). It’s not a problem to make 300-500 likes and get a response in the form of traffic to your Snapchat account.

To avoid wasting your time on likes, I automated it by a clicker from Play Market:

It takes about 5 minutes for 1 account to create them manually. There are registration, quick likes and limit exhaustion. Some users write to the private messages and ask for a contact (mainly Snapchat), and some find the link in the profile description. In an hour of manual work, you can easily collect 70-100 new Snapchat friends.

4. Swipr is an analogue of Wink, the second most active audience.

Everything is the same here. I created a profile, liked users (you can choose any Geo for swipes, but I always worked to increase the volume of traffic and chose Worldwide Geos).

In the questionnaire, you can also write your contacts, which will “open” to everyone who puts a mutual like, and then adds.

Local users, like me, mostly prefer Snapchat.

As for Likes, they are equal to Diamonds, 1 like = 10 diamonds. The difference from Wink is that you can get them by watching ads, so each account is more durable and can be used until the ban (about one day).

5. So, we have applications for finding traffic on our social networks (Snapchat in this case), a Snapchat profile and IMI Smartlink with a pre-landing in the form of linktr.ee to bypass the blocking.

These applications are active at the moment, besides, they have a lot of analogues: Hoop, Purp, Boo, Yubo, etc. (new ones are constantly appearing in the Play market).

I’ll say briefly about all methods of getting traffic from Snapchat: these are either stories with an attached link that all new friends will see, or a text messages to each user separately. I post both text creo and stories.

A typical example of my Snapchat stories:

Snapchat quickly bans for 18+ content, so I post short photos and videos from Instagram.

Conclusions:

1. The case study is great for beginners. There are no complicated technical issues, and there are no costs at all (except availability of Android smartphone).

2. The case study has a huge potential for scaling by creating profiles on the emulator, automation and numerous apps analogues. The method of working in the apps (for finding friends) for Snapchat is the same – Likes for diamonds and diamonds for viewing ads.

3. Instead of Snapchat, I tested Instagram, Telegram and WhatsApp. As a result, I’ve got traffic and conversions from all applications. But I’ve chosen Snapchat due to the fact that most of the users prefer it and the volume of traffic is higher here.
